We operate out of Southport, North Carolina and happily serve Bald Head Island, Oak Island, Caswell Beach and surrounding Brunswick County, NC beaches. Captain Steele Park has spent most of his life on the water, fishing both locally and internationally, but he's no salty captain! His focus is as much on fun, sharing knowledge, and making memories, as it is catching fish (which he's pretty good at too)!

Cool Runnings, and Captain Greer Hughes, provide their Oak Island fishing boat and blanket NC fishing license. Captain Hughes is an Oak Island and Southport native and has fished our areas for over 20 years. Whether you are a seasoned fisherman or a beginner, it does not matter. Children are welcome and invited to catch their very first fish with this very patient and willing teacher!

Top catches typically include king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, spade, bluefish, ladyfish, cobia, black drum, red drum, speckled trout, gray trout, flounder, and tarpon. Cool running provides a blanket NC fishing license, rods and reels, bait, and ice. Bring your own hat, sunscreen, camera, sunglasses, lunch or snack, and drinks.

Captain Wally is a prominent local fisherman, spending summers as a kid with his grandfather and learning about the Brunswick County fishing industry as a kid. Wally holds a Marine Biology degree and knows the local catches and wildlife like the back of his hand. Captain Dosher has also been in the region since Southport/Oak Island was a small fishing village and has dedicated much of his time to fishing everything from local shallow creeks to blue-water fishing. He is a wealth of knowledge and full of jokes that will have everyone laughing. Captain Overman has been fishing since he could walk. For over a decade he has been cruising the backwaters and exploring the near-shore reefs in the Southport/Oak Island area.
